Final Task: CCR

Image
  1.    h 1.      For  today's blog, I will upload an embedded video where it shows me talking about my film and the trial and tribulations that I had to face for the past two months. One thing that I would like to note is that it only took four tries to get the meeting done, which is not bad compared to other meetings that I have been in for school purposes. Overall, I hope you enjoy the video!!!

Final Task: The Most Hated

After months of preparation and going through multiple schedule changes, I present to you my film. I would like to note that the name of the film is called "The Most Hated", hence why it part of today's blog name. Overall, I hope you enjoy my film and is worth the two minutes of your time.

Final Task: Video Review and Editing

Image
In this blog today I will first talk about what other people think about my film and provide their opinions in this blog. Lastly, I will talk about the editing process for this film and how certain scenes were sadly cut due to time constraints. To start off, I have shown two people my film, so they can give their takes on the film essentially. The first person is the person who was the main actor in my music video, which their name is Meaghan Etienne. Their opinion on my film was that the title sequence was good due to the use of the font on the titles and how the titles tend to fade out after they been on screen for about three seconds. Meaghan also states that the film idea of someone running away from an antagonist or more specifically a bully was portrayed well, for that she believes that the actor who played Ryan Johnson did a good job being a victim of a bully. Meaghan also makes the claim that the film is hard to understand from the perspective of not knowing the basis of the f

Final Task: Music Selection and Editing Blog

Image
In this blog, I will first discuss how I resolved my music selection problem. After that, I will end this blog with an update in terms of how the editing process is going. To start off, as you may remember from my "Final Task: Production Blog", I had three potential songs that I may use for my film. The first song is “Arcade” by Kaiydo. The second song is “Bones” by Young Guns. The third possible song is “The World is Yours”. You may also remember from my "Final Task: Possible Songs and Filming Blog", that I mentioned that I will be adding two more songs into the pool of music selection for this film. The first song is "Good Times" by Styles P, who is pictured at the top left of this blog today. The second song that is being added is "Runnin" by Ludwig Göransson. One thing that I would like to note in that blog is that I specifically stated that "... I will not disregard these artists as well unless another artist responds to my email or a

Final Task: Editing Blog

Image
To start off my blog I would like to talk about the events leading up to the editing portion of my film and how it affected the editing process. As you may have seen or read on my "Planning for Final Task: Location, Health, Schedule and More" blog, my editing blog was supposed to be published throughout the week of 3/23 to 3/28. Fortunately, I was able to edit some of the film today, which I will be talking about the process in today's blog. The next thing that I want to talk about is the duration process in terms of me editing my film. It took me one hour and thirty minutes to edit one-fourth of my film, which isn't as long as I thought it was going to be, but don't get it twisted for that it was still a long process at the end of the day. The reason why it took so long was that just like previous projects I had to first plug my phone into my laptop since my phone had all the videos in storage. The reason why my phone had all the storage of the videos because I

Final Task: Filming Blog

Image
To start off my blog, I would like to mention that I wasn't able to film with Alexander Combs and Michael Fernandez this past Thursday due to a schedule conflict, which I specified in my "Final Task: Possible Actor Changes, Music Selection, and Filming Details Blog" that I would let Stephan and Marveen Sanon take Mr. Combs and Mr. Frenandez roles for my film. Now, I would like to talk about the roles that everyone had during the filming process. My role for the filming process was to bring a phone that had good camera quality, a basketball, and a selfie stick since it the only thing that I can use to place my phone while I was recording shots from a far distance. The role of the actors was to make sure that they're present at the film site. The next thing that I want to talk about in this blog is the problems that I and the actors face before and during the filming process. The first problem that I and the actors faced before the filming was that we only had two hours

Final Task: Possible Actor Changes, Music Selection, and Filming Details Blog

Image
In this blog today I will discuss a possible change of actors that are playing the roles in my film. Then I will discuss the music selection process for this film. Lastly, I will talk about the pre-filming details, since filming is supposed to start today. To start off, after talks with the actors for this film, it is in the best interest to change the actors for the role of the two characters in the film because of external reasons. One of the reasons is because either I or the other actors tend to not have a ride to get to the film location since one of us doesn't have a car and the other doesn't have their license. Now, you may be thinking "Why can't your parents drop you off at the film location?", well the problem is that my father tends to work throughout the majority of the day and my mother isn't physically fit to drive her car due to a foot problem. Also, the actors' parents can't drop them off as well at times because they also tend to work t
